Victory Christian Center promotes Christian education and the Ladies of Victory have developed a scholarship fund to award a scholarship each year, to a middle and/or high school student who has demonstrated excellent Christian character and leadership skills. The recipient of the scholarship will have displayed outstanding scholastic ability. Scholarship Requirements:

  • Must be in middle or high school (7th-12th grade)

  • Has achieved a 3.5 grade point average or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)

  • Has demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in church, school, community service, extracurricular, or other activities

  • Must exemplify strong Christian character


our 2022-2023 Scholarship RecipientS

PATRICIA HAMILTON indicated that her family and her amazing teachers and administrators at Victory Christian Center School, have helped her to learn what it means to serve God.  At Victory Christian Center School, Patricia was the Salutatorian for the Victory Christian Center High School Class of 2023 and an Honor Graduate. Patricia was a part of the A Average Honor Roll Club, the Mock Trial Regional Competition, a recipient of the Community Service, Noble Prize Academic Excellence Award and a Trivia Champ of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Education of Blacks. While at Victory Christian Center School, Patricia was also a part of the STEAM Art Project “We Belong” and she also tutored for the Art for those in Need Project.  Patricia has been accepted into 6 universities and received $271,792.00 dollars in Scholarship offers. This Fall, Patricia will attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

ARIA BURROWS plans to attend college and major in Environmental Engineering. She indicated that enrolling in Victory Christian Center School has helped her to maintain a closer personal relationship with God.  While she has been at Victory Christian Center School, Aria has exceeded the required grade point average of 3.5 throughout the 22-23 school year. 

She has been a part of Track and Field, Mock Trials, STEM Project, 2021 Excel Village Girl’s STEM Fab Power Summit and the Hour for the Tower Fundraiser Project.   Aria gives God all of the honor for her success.  Aria indicated that she is also very thankful for her family and the wonderful faculty and staff at Victory Christian Center School for helping her to excel.

JAMES REDDRICK indicated that attending Victory Christian Center School has helped him to continue to develop his personal relationship with God and gain leadership and knowledge skills.  While James has been a student at Victory Christian Center School, he has exceeded the 3.5 grade point average that is required for Scholarship Recipients. James has received the President’s Cup Award, Christian Character, and Straight A average Awards respectively.  James has also received the highest Academic Average Award, SLI Award and the Tarc Award.  James is actively involved in the SLI Rocket Team, Tarc Rocket Team, STEM Program, the National Bible Bee and Samaritan’s Feet.  James plans to attend college with his major course of study being mathematics.  James also has his own YouTube Channel where he uploads games for people to enjoy.  He made custom content on his You Tube channel for a subscriber who has Autism so that subscriber could enjoy the games on his You Tube Channel as well. James credits his accomplishments to God, his amazing parents, and to the teachers, administrators, and his classmates at Victory Christian Center School.
