CHURCH HISTORY
In July of 1979, while pastoring Faith C.M.E. Church in Charlotte, God informed Pastor Robyn Gool and his wife, Marilyn, that their ministry would take a new direction. In obedience to God, Pastor Gool informed Bishop Linsey, who was presiding over the Carolina Conference of the C.M.E. Church at that time. After visiting with Pastor Gool and hearing the things God had placed in his heart, Bishop Linsey released him with honor. Shortly afterward, Victory Christian Center was established. On July 27, 1980, the first service was held in a warehouse 11 miles outside Charlotte with 64 people in attendance.

The ministry today includes a full-service preschool, fully-accredited elementary and secondary schools, and a fully-accredited community college, which includes Biblical and ministerial studies as well as secular courses. A vocational arm of the college was established in 2007, and a Bachelor of Arts program began in 2010.
On November 27th, Pastor Marilyn Gool was officially installed as the President and Senior Pastor of Victory Christian Center (More Than Conquerors Ministries). Watch the installation video clip here!

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. - Mark 16:15-16
