This salad can be adjusted according to your personal palate. Add or eliminate any vegetable, nut, or seed you choose. Enjoy!
This chili recipe can also be adjusted. Instead of 2 cans of black beans, you can use a veriety such as: 1 can of black beans, one can of pinto, and one can of kidney. You can also use any type of bean you desire and cook your beans from scratch instead of using the canned beans. For extra spice, feel free to add ½ tablespoon of smoked paprika and a ½ tablespoon of chipotle powder. If the chili powder seems a bit much, cut it back to 1 tablespoon. Use this as a guide and make it personal. Enjoy!
