1.     GIG (Getting Involved in Government) is partnering with Victory Christian Center School to bring you an information forum on North Carolina’s Opportunity Scholarship. The Opportunity Scholarship is available to all students in grades K-12, with priority given to lower income families. This scholarship provides parents with up to $7,000 to send their children to the school of their choice. The application window closes March 6th. Kwan Graham, a representative with the Opportunity Scholarships program, will present additional details and be available to answer your questions. This event is open to the public. Parents, please join us TOMORROW at 6:30 PM at Victory Christian Center School (1501 Carrier Drive) to learn more.

2.     Men of Victory: Tickets for 2025 Men's Fellowship Breakfast are now on sale! Our theme is "Men of Victory Walkin in Excellence", and our guest speaker will be Pastor Tony Smith of Refreshing Springs Worship Center in Salisbury, NC. The event will be held THIS SATURDAY, February 22nd, at 9 AM at the VYB Gymnasium. Your $15 ticket opens the door for great fellowship, a delicious breakfast menu, and an awesome Word from God, so be sure to bring a friend!  Reserve your seat by getting your ticket in the foyer of the Dome after service or by purchasing online at vccenter.net/mensfellowshipbreakfastTONIGHT is the deadline to purchase tickets.

3.     If you are celebrating a birthday in the month of February, Pastor Marilyn would like to meet with you immediately after service THIS SUNDAY, February 23rd, in the Church Office reception area (West side of the dome).

4.     Catherine Davis will be our guest minister NEXT Wednesday, February 26th at 7 PM here in the Dome. There will NOT be youth service at the Youth Building.  All our youth and children will be with us in the dome.  Please make plans to attend.

5.       Fun Night is CANCELLED THIS FRIDAY.

6.     VCCS re-enrollment is now in progress. Register now through March 15 and receive a $100 discount on re-enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. Prospective parents, please join us TOMORROW at 6:30 PM at Victory Christian Center School’s Middle-High School campus (1501 Carrier Drive) and receive information on the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program and VCCS.

7.     In The Know will be held THIS FRIDAY, February 21st at 7:30 PM at Campus 3.  This is a members only event.

8.     Hey POP family, Happy New Year!! We are kicking the year off with an evening dinner and discussion with Ministers Mr. and Mrs. Heath!! Come out for food and fellowship at Bonefish Grill at Concord Mills THIS SATURDAY at 6:30 PM. We will be discussing biblical topics, marriage, singleness, and many more topics. Come prepared to ask questions and enjoy good food with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Please visit the band APP for more information and to RSVP your attendance. 9.     Please be reminded that THIS SUNDAY is the 4th Sunday which is YOUTH SUNDAY

10.  Ladies of Victory, we’re having a breakfast on Saturday, March 1st at 9 AM just for you! Tickets are $47 and include a delicious breakfast off-site at the Sheraton Hotel. Tickets can be purchased with cash or check immediately following service at the booth across from the Wordshop or online: vccenter.net/lovbreakfast. In our endeavor to get a head count, if possible, please purchase your ticket today. If you would like to attend the women's breakfast but need financial assistance, go by the booth to sign up.

11.  Our last Giveaway Day was a great success - big thank you to all who gave! Unfortunately, we had more people in need than ever before. So, please save the date - April 26, 2025 - for our next Giveaway and start setting aside your gently used items to be an even bigger blessing to our community!

12.  Congratulations to our Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls!  Both teams have advanced to the State Championship games THIS SATURDAY!  The Varsity Boys game is at 1 PM at Providence Day. 13.  If you are a member and have children 9 years old and up that attend church and they have a birthday in the month of February, please go by the Welcome Center and leave their names.

14.  Attention parents of Nursery-aged children: Please be advised that ALL children must be dropped off and picked up from the West Nursery entrance ONLY (doors next to the Wordshop). We no longer conduct Nursery on the East side of the Dome.

15.  VCC Members 65 and up (without email) and visitors should have received your 2024 Contribution Statement via mail.  All other VCC members, please access your Servant Keeper portal to print your statement.  Need help?  Please don’t call the Church Office, instead visit the church website to download an info sheet at the bottom of the Giving tab OR you can go by the Welcome Center to view the sheet there.  Thank you all for your faithfulness in giving to this ministry!

16.   VCC Seniors 65+ without email, please stop by the Welcome Center to get a Senior Care form.  Please complete and leave at the Welcome Center or the Church Office during the week. Those with email should have already received a form via email.

17.  This week, we are asking each member to bring Canned Beef Stew. Items may be dropped off at the Dome Food & Clothing Room before and after service or weekdays (9:30 AM-4:30 PM) at Campus 3 (6916 Old Pineville Road). Thank you in advance.

18.  Winter needs for the Missions Department include: 1) infant & children’s winter clothing (sizes 0-14) (NEW or in excellent condition), 2) NEW blankets, 3) canned meats and 4) soups.  Items may be dropped off at the Dome Food & Clothing Room before and after service or weekdays (9:30 AM-4:30 PM) at Campus 3 (6916 Old Pineville Road). 19.  Ministry of Helps Classes are available online! There are three options to register for these classes: 1. Go to vccenter.net, click on the “serve” tab and complete the submission form. 2. Sign up at the Welcome Center or 3. Email churchoffice@vccenter.net.  If you are unable to take the classes online, please call the Church Office at 704-602-6010.

20.  New Members Classes are available online. If you are interested in church membership, please go to vccenter.net, click on the “New Members Classes Online” link under the “Connect” tab. Submit your first and last name and email address. Your login credentials will then be sent to you.

21.  The VCC Women's Shelter is touching and changing lives for the glory of God....If you are interested in serving at the Women's Shelter, we have chaperone shifts available Wednesday and Friday evenings and all-day Saturdays and Sundays.  We are also in need of breakfast, lunch and dinner cooks Saturdays and Sundays.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center.

22.  Victory Family, if you are interested in ministering to/working with children with special needs in the Nursery and/or leading that department, please sign up at the Welcome Center.

23.  Volunteering in the Nursery Ministry not only ministers to the children, but it also ministers to the Lord. We are impacting a whole generation by serving the next generation of disciples for Christ. If interested in joining, please sign up at the Welcome Center. 

24.  The Media Ministry has need of additional volunteers in all areas:  Video, Audio, Floor Director, I-MAG and Stage & Lighting.  No experience required and training will be provided.  If you are looking for an opportunity to hold up our pastor’s arms, the Media Ministry may be the area for you.  If interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center.  Thank you in advance. 

25.  VCC Youth Fun Night for ages 9-18 needs chaperones!  If you are a VCC member, at least 21 years old, completed MOH classes, have a desire/calling to work with youth and a fun personality; then we'd love for you to come serve with us!  Flexible time slots are available once approved.  All interested may complete a MOH application at the Welcome Center.

26.  Are you good with capturing photos on your phone or mobile device? Does posting a story or GIF on Instagram or Facebook make you giddy?  Then the VCC Social Media Ministry of Helps may be just for you.  This team will help support the VCC Marketing and Promotions Department by capturing and documenting ministry events from the POV (point of view) of VCC.  If interested in serving in this special MOH, please stop by the Welcome to complete a MOH application.
