Are you spending time with the Lord? Is it high on your priority list? Jesus, while on the earth, was a busy man. He was traveling, teaching the Word, casting out devils, healing the sick, and meeting the needs of the people. Despite all the demands of the ministry, He made it a priority to fellowship with the Father. Prayer played a major role in the ministry of Jesus. He would pray late at night after a long day of ministry, and sometimes, He would even pray all night. Jesus knew the importance of prayer, and we must make sure that we understand it as well. We receive guidance and direction in prayer. We learn to hear the Voice of God in prayer. We must never lose sight of the significance of prayer. God wants to fellowship with us. When we draw close to Him, He will draw close to us. Prayer is one way we can draw closer to Him. Let us never forget that.
